Passing trams and buses at a stop

Drivers wishing to pass a stationary tram or bus on the side where passengers are boarding and alighting must allow them to do so.
As soon as a tram or bus is stationary at a stop, you must pay close attention to passengers who want to get on and off and are not paying close attention to traffic.
If there is no refuge barrier, then you should allow passengers to reach the pavement.
If a refuge barrier is present, passengers should wait there until they can cross safely. In practice, it often happens that many passengers start crossing as soon as the tram or bus stops at the stop. Then, of course, you have to stop to let passengers cross.
If you are driving behind a scheduled bus, you can tell from the red light on the bus whether it is going to stop at the next stop.
Within built-up areas, drivers must allow bus drivers to proceed from a bus stop if the bus driver indicates their intention to move forward by giving a signal with their direction indicator.
