Crossing junctions

When approaching an equivalent intersection, you must be mindful of drivers to whom you must give way. Therefore, adjust your speed in time to have enough time to react to situations arising at the junction. For example, if you drive up at high speed and have to brake hard for a driver coming from the right only at the last moment, you are not really giving right of way.

If you have to stop, do so in such a way that you do not come to a standstill at the junction or crosswalks. In other words, you should not block the traffic at the junction you are approaching, so you should only cross a junction when you can drive all the way through or when it is possible for you to line up between the intersecting traffic flows without blocking the junction.

In this situation, the moped (A) has to let cars B and C go ahead and it is now blocking the free passage of moped (D). The driver of the moped therefore had to stop before the junction.

Moped (A) here does not have the opportunity to line up between the intersecting traffic flows. He clearly drove too far into the junction, blocking the free passage of the yellow cars.
Again, the driver of the moped had to stop before the junction.
