Introduction of giving way to the blind or disabled persons & pedestrians

Drivers intending to pass a stationary tram or bus on the side where passengers embark and disembark must give them the opportunity to do so.

Within built-up areas, drivers must give bus drivers the opportunity to drive away from a bus stop if the driver of that bus indicates his intention to drive away by giving a signal using his direction indicator.
This does not apply to drivers of a motor vehicle belonging to a military convoy or a funeral procession of motor vehicles.

Drivers must give way to blind persons equipped with a white stick with one or more red rings, and, for that matter, to all persons who have difficulty moving.
Drivers must give way to pedestrians and drivers of disabled vehicles crossing or apparently about to cross at a pedestrian crossing. This does not apply to drivers of a motor vehicle belonging to a military convoy or a funeral procession of motor vehicles.
