Stopping – on a pedestrian or bicycle crossing

It is not allowed to stand still on or within 5 meters before or after a crossing.
By crossings, we mean pedestrian crossings and crossings for bicycles, snorfietsen, and mopeds, as shown in the bottom image.
Stopping at a crossing blocks the crossing and thus causes unnecessary inconvenience to traffic wishing to use it.
Standing still within five meters before or after a crossing obstructs the view of traffic wishing to cross and obstructs the view of other traffic on road users wishing to cross.
