Stopping – junction

Standing still at junctions is not permitted. If a car stops in front of you at an intersection and you also have to stop as a result, this does not fall under standing still as this is not voluntarily bringing your vehicle to a halt.
However, at junctions, you are not allowed to block an junction. You would then have done better if you had stopped before the junction, and not at the junction itself.
However, if you stop at an junction to let someone get in or out, this is not allowed because that falls under standing still.

On the red part of the junction, you are not allowed to stand still. On the yellow part, you are not allowed to park.
So you could say that on the yellow section you are allowed to load and unload or let someone get in or out, but be careful: You are also not allowed to standing still if you could cause danger or inconvenience.
